Pro čtyřiadvacetiletého obránce se jedná o první zahraniční štaci, neboť doposud sbíral zkušenosti v domácích portugalských soutěžích. Teď ho ovšem čeká nová výzva. „Oblékat dres Dynama je skvělá příležitost, těším se na to. Všechno se odehrálo velmi rychle, ale když jsem obdržel nabídku a dozvěděl jsem se o historii a odkazu klubu v České republice, neváhal jsem ani vteřinu,“ říká po podpisu kontraktu v Českých Budějovicích André Alves.
„Mám opravdu velkou chuť pracovat, rozvíjet se a pomoci týmu dosáhnout jeho cílů. Na hřišti vždy do toho dám všechno a doufám, že tu společně vybudujeme něco výjimečného. Jsem maximálně motivovaný začít,“ dodává Portugalec.
„André je střední obránce, kterého trenér i realizační tým dobře znají. Prošel mládežnickými strukturami v Portugalsku. Vyniká dobrým pozičním postavením a kvalitní rozehrávkou. Po odchodech Gorosita a Koneho jsme potřebovali tuto pozici posílit,“ uvádí na adresu nové posily sportovní ředitel Dynama.

For the 24-year-old defender, this is his first stint abroad, as he has so far gained experience in domestic Portuguese competitions. Now, however, a new challenge awaits him. „Wearing the Dynamo jersey is a great opportunity, and I’m looking forward to it. Everything happened very quickly, but when I received the offer and learned about the club’s history and legacy in the Czech Republic, I didn’t hesitate for a second," he said after signing his contract in České Budějovice.
„I am really eager to work, develop, and help the team achieve its goals. On the pitch, I will always give my all, and I hope that together we can build something special here. I am fully motivated to get started," added the Portuguese defender.
„André is a central defender well known to the coach and the staff. He came through the youth ranks in Portugal. He stands out for his good positioning and quality distribution. After the departures of Gorosito and Koné, we needed to strengthen this position,” said Dynamo’s sporting director about the new signing.
