Po dnešním jednání se zástupci města považujeme za nezbytné otevřeně informovat veřejnost o tom, co bylo na schůzce skutečně řečeno.
Od prvního dne je naše pozice naprosto jasná. Chceme dlouhodobé a stabilní řešení, které zajistí růst klubu i akademie a zachová profesionální fotbal v Českých Budějovicích.
Na jednání jsme jasně deklarovali naši ochotu nadále finančně podporovat akademii a nabídli jsme transparentní model financování, v rámci kterého by majitelka klubu hradila 50 % nákladů na její fungování.
Je důležité uvést konkrétní fakta. Celkové roční náklady na fungování akademie činí přibližně 24 milionů korun. Město aktuálně přispívá částkou 8,6 milionu korun a Jihočeský kraj částkou 3 miliony korun.
Roční pronájem tréninkového areálu na Složišti však činí přibližně 3 miliony korun, což znamená, že krajská dotace se prostřednictvím těchto nákladů fakticky vrací zpět. Reálný příspěvek veřejných institucí tak ve skutečnosti činí přibližně 8,6 milionu korun.
Přesto nám bylo sděleno, že město nemá zájem o jakoukoliv finanční investici z naší strany a chce akademii financovat samo, zároveň nad ní převzít plnou kontrolu.
Toto odmítnutí je o to překvapivější, že město v minulosti opakovaně veřejně tvrdilo, že majitelka klubu akademii dostatečně finančně nepodporuje. Nyní však samo říká, že o finanční příspěvek majitelky nestojí a usiluje pouze o převzetí kontroly.
Zároveň jsme jasně vyjádřili zájem odkoupit stadion na Střeleckém ostrově i tréninkový areál na Složišti, protože pouze dlouhodobé vlastnictví infrastruktury může klubu zajistit stabilitu a skutečný rozvoj. Město však i tuto variantu odmítlo.
Současně nám bylo sděleno, že město momentálně nemá finanční prostředky na odkup klubu kvůli deficitnímu rozpočtu.
Je tedy legitimní se ptát, jak město plánovalo klub odkoupit, pokud dnes samo přiznává, že na takový krok nemá prostředky.
Jediným návrhem, který nám město představilo, bylo dočasné řešení na jeden rok, během kterého se má klub připravit na přesun profesionálního týmu do jiného města.
Jinými slovy nám bylo řečeno, že vedení klubu má jeden rok na to, aby přesunulo profesionální tým mimo České Budějovice.
Město však zároveň nepředstavilo žádný konkrétní plán, co bude následovat poté, co profesionální klub město skutečně opustí. Nebyla představena žádná dlouhodobá strategie ani odpověď na otázku, jak bude vypadat budoucnost profesionálního fotbalu v Českých Budějovicích.
Zarážejí nás také veřejná vyjádření pana Petra Maroše, který uvedl, že veřejnost a fanoušci by údajně raději přijali klub hrající čtvrtou nebo pátou ligu složený pouze z hráčů akademie než profesionální druholigový klub na Střeleckém ostrově.
Takové tvrzení považujeme za naprosto nereálné a nezodpovědné vůči budoucnosti klubu.
Již dnes má SK Dynamo České Budějovice v A-týmu šest až sedm hráčů z vlastní akademie a naším cílem je jejich další rozvoj na nejvyšší možné úrovni. Naší ambicí je návrat do nejvyšší české soutěže, nikoliv dobrovolný pád do nižších amatérských soutěží.
Snižovat ambice klubu a prezentovat čtvrtou či pátou ligu jako řešení budoucnosti profesionálního fotbalu v Českých Budějovicích nepovažujeme za odpovědný plán, ale za rezignaci na sportovní rozvoj celého regionu.
Město zároveň tvrdí, že má pro tento krok podporu fanoušků a obyvatel Českých Budějovic. Když jsme však požádali o konkrétní data nebo analýzu, která by toto tvrzení potvrzovala, město nebylo schopné nic předložit.
Další veřejná vyjádření pana Viktora Lavičky, který se samotného jednání ani nezúčastnil, považujeme rovněž za zavádějící. Veřejně tvrdí, že cílem města je zachovat značku Dynamo v Českých Budějovicích.
Tato tvrzení jsou však v přímém rozporu s tím, co nám bylo na jednání skutečně prezentováno. Pokud je klubu nabídnut pouze jeden rok a následně má město opustit, nelze to označovat za snahu zachovat Dynamo v Českých Budějovicích.
Taková komunikace působí spíše jako snaha uklidnit situaci před nadcházejícími volbami, aniž by byly otevřeně komunikovány skutečné důsledky odchodu značky Dynamo z města.
Ptáme se:
- Co se stane s akademií a mladými hráči ve chvíli, kdy profesionální klub město opustí?
- Jakou budou mít mladí hráči budoucnost, pokud už nebudou mít možnost usilovat o profesionální fotbal v klubu, ve kterém vyrůstali?
- Co chce město dělat s hráči akademie?
- Jaký má město konkrétní plán?
- Proč chce město převzít akademii?
Žádáme město, aby veřejně představilo svůj plán a strategii pro budoucnost akademie.
Stejně tak se ptáme, jak má klub za těchto podmínek přivádět kvalitní hráče, partnery a investory, když nemá jistotu dlouhodobého fungování a disponuje pouze roční smlouvou na stadion.
Tento návrh nepovažujeme za kompromis ani řešení. Vnímáme ho jako krátkodobé a populistické rozhodnutí, které neřeší budoucnost fotbalu v Českých Budějovicích, ale pouze odsouvá problém na období po říjnových volbách.
Naší prioritou zůstává udržet SK Dynamo České Budějovice jako profesionální druholigový klub v Českých Budějovicích.
Uděláme maximum pro to, aby klub v tomto městě zůstal. Pokud však budeme nuceni odejít, veřejnost by měla přesně vědět, kdo za tuto situaci nese odpovědnost.
Stále věříme, že existuje prostor pro rozumné řešení. Čas na skutečné kroky se však rychle krátí.
English versionThe city talks about saving Dynamo. The reality is different.
Following today’s meeting with city representatives, we consider it necessary to openly inform the public about what was actually said during the meeting.
From day one, our position has been absolutely clear. We want a long-term and stable solution that ensures growth for both the club and the academy and preserves professional football in České Budějovice.
During the meeting, we clearly declared our willingness to continue financially supporting the academy and offered a transparent financing model under which the club owner would cover 50% of its operating costs.
It is important to state the specific facts. The total annual operating costs of the academy are approximately CZK 24 million. The city currently contributes CZK 8.6 million and the South Bohemian Region contributes CZK 3 million.
However, the annual rent for the training facility at Složiště is approximately CZK 3 million, which means that the regional subsidy is effectively returned through these costs. The real contribution of public institutions therefore amounts to approximately CZK 8.6 million.
Despite this, we were told that the city has no interest in any financial investment from our side and wants to finance the academy itself while also taking full control over it.
This is even more surprising given that the city has repeatedly publicly claimed in the past that the club owner does not sufficiently support the academy financially. Now, however, the city itself says it is not interested in any financial contribution from the owner and is only seeking control.
At the same time, we clearly expressed our interest in purchasing the stadium at Střelecký ostrov and the training facility at Složiště, because only long-term ownership of infrastructure can provide the club with stability and real development. However, the city rejected this option as well.
We were also informed that the city currently does not have the financial resources to purchase the club due to its deficit budget.
It is therefore legitimate to ask how the city planned to purchase the club if it now openly admits it does not have the resources to do so.
The only proposal presented to us by the city was a temporary one-year solution during which the club is expected to prepare for relocating the professional team to another city.
In other words, we were told that the club’s management has one year to relocate the professional team out of České Budějovice.
At the same time, the city did not present any specific plan for what would happen after the professional club actually leaves the city. No long-term strategy was introduced, nor was there any answer as to what the future of professional football in České Budějovice would look like.
We are also concerned by the public statements made by Petr Maroš, who claimed that the public and fans would supposedly prefer a club playing in the fourth or fifth division made up only of academy players rather than a professional second division club playing at Střelecký ostrov.
We consider such statements completely unrealistic and irresponsible toward the future of the club.
Today, SK Dynamo České Budějovice already has six to seven academy players in the first team, and our goal is to continue developing them at the highest possible level. Our ambition is to return to the top Czech league, not voluntarily fall into lower amateur divisions.
Lowering the club’s ambitions and presenting the fourth or fifth division as a solution for the future of professional football in České Budějovice is not a responsible plan. It is a resignation from the sporting development of the entire region.
The city also claims it has the support of fans and the people of České Budějovice for this decision. However, when we asked for specific data or analysis to support these claims, the city was unable to provide anything.
We also consider public statements made by Viktor Lavička, who did not even attend the meeting, to be misleading. He publicly claims that the city’s goal is to preserve the Dynamo brand in České Budějovice.
These statements are in direct contradiction to what was actually presented to us during the meeting. If the club is only being offered one year and is then expected to leave the city, this cannot be described as an effort to preserve Dynamo in České Budějovice.
Such communication appears to be more about calming tensions ahead of upcoming elections without openly communicating the real consequences of the Dynamo brand leaving the city.
We ask:
- What will happen to the academy and young players once the professional club leaves the city?
- What future will young players have if they no longer have the opportunity to pursue professional football at the club where they grew up?
- What does the city plan to do with academy players?
- What specific plan does the city have?
- Why does the city want to take control of the academy?
We call on the city to publicly present its plan and strategy for the future of the academy.
We also ask how the club is expected to attract quality players, partners, and investors under these conditions when there is no certainty about long-term stability and the club is left with only a one-year stadium agreement.
We do not consider this proposal a compromise or a solution. We see it as a short-term and populist decision that does not solve the future of football in České Budějovice, but merely postpones the problem until after the October elections.
Our priority remains to keep SK Dynamo České Budějovice as a professional second division club in České Budějovice.
We will do everything possible to ensure the club remains in this city. However, if we are forced to leave, the public deserves to know exactly who is responsible.
We still believe there is room for a reasonable solution. However, time for real action is running out.
