Co přesně zahrnuje vaše pozice?
Mé působení v klubu je zaměřené na podporu jeho celkového fungování a dalšího rozvoje. Podílím se na naplňování strategie, posilování interní organizace i propojení jednotlivých úseků tak, aby klub postupoval jednotně. Aby měl jasný směr a vytvářel podmínky pro dlouhodobou stabilitu a růst. Víme, jakým směrem chceme klub vést a tomu přizpůsobujeme i naše každodenní kroky.
Jaký je tedy zmiňovaný směr? Představte strategii.
Po příchodu majitelky dostali příležitost hráči z klubové akademie Colin Andrew, David Krch či Jan Brabec, což jasně ukazuje jeden ze směrů, kterým se klub chce ubírat. V lednu podepsali první profesionální smlouvy Jáchym Štindl a Lukáš Rajtmajer, což nebylo v posledních pěti letech moc zvykem. Je vidět, že klub sází na své mladíky a tento trend bude pokračovat.
To je tedy jeden ze směrů. A co ty další?
Prioritou je akademii dál posilovat. Zároveň klub stabilizovat a vytvořit pevné základy pro jeho rozvoj. Naší ambicí je být co nejlépe připravení a od léta naplno usilovat o návrat do nejvyšší soutěže.
Není to moc rychlý plán?
Pracujeme na tom, abychom posílili všechny sektory v klubu. Do léta máme čas vše připravit, abychom mohli bojovat o postup.
Bude Dynamo dál přivádět zahraniční hráče?
Chceme takové hráče, kteří si svou kvalitou zaslouží dres Dynama. Zejména stojíme o ty mladé. Nebudeme rozlišovat, jestli jsou to čeští nebo zahraniční fotbalisté.
V klubu pracujete zhruba tři týdny. Jaké byly začátky?
Velmi intenzivní a pracovní. Přestože se ve fotbalovém prostředí pohybuji už dlouho, tak tato role je pro mě nová. Jsou to pro mě výzvy i zkušenosti. Od začátku je jasné, že pouze systematická práce, nasazení a odpovědný přístup mohou přinést výsledky, které pomohou klubu k dalšímu rozvoji.
Kam sahají vaše rozhodovací pravomoce?
Odpovědnosti v klubu jsou nastavené tak, aby bylo jeho řízení jasné a efektivní. Ve své roli se podílím na důležitých rozhodnutích a nesu za ně odpovědnost. Zásadní je pro nás společný zájem, aby každé rozhodnutí podporovalo stabilitu, růst a dlouhodobou sílu klubu.
Jak často a o čem komunikujete s majitelkou Nnekou Ede?
Pravidelně spolu komunikujeme o strategickém směrování klubu, jeho dalším rozvoji a posilování vnitřní struktury. Diskutujeme o cílech a krocích, které povedou k dlouhodobé stabilitě a konkurenceschopnosti. Důležité je, že v těchto otázka panuje shoda na tom, jakým směrem se má klub ubírat.
Přiblížíte, jaké bude budoucí financování klubu?
Ekonomická stabilita je jedním ze základních pilířů fungování klubu. Cílem je nastavit zdravý a udržitelný model, který bude stát na více zdrojích a odpovědném řízení. Jen finančně stabilní klub může dlouhodobě růst a naplňovat své sportovní ambice.
Když plánujete příští rok bojovat o postup, zvýšíte i rozpočet?
Budeme to konzultovat s vedením. Je třeba rozpočet vyvážit podle našich cílů.
Jak se bude dál ubírat komunikace klubu směrem ven?
Chceme, aby komunikace byla otevřená, profesionální a důvěryhodná. Naším cílem bude přinášet fanouškům a médiím včas patřičné informace. Zároveň chceme posilovat vztah mezi klubem a jeho příznivci.
Kádr během zimního období opustilo pár hráčů. Nastanou ještě nějaké změny?
Přestupové období je otevřené, s kádrem pracujeme. Když se naskytne možnost získat kvalitního fotbalistu, tak se nebudeme bránit. Řeší to hlavně sportovní úsek. Může dojít k příchodům i odchodům, a to vždy s ohledem na potřeby týmu a dlouhodobé zájmy klubu. Konkrétní jména komentovat nebudu, dokud nebudou případné změny definitivní.
Na konci listopadu museli zemi opustit Chukwudi Igbokwe, Jude Sunday a Simon Omon. Vrátí se?
Mají povolení k pobytu v jiném státu Evropské unie. Jakmile uplyne lhůta 90 dnů, tak se mohou vrátit a pokračovat v klubu. Na začátku jarní části sezony by tu měli být.
Hlavní trenér Pedro Resende má smlouvu jen do konce sezony. Počítáte s ním dál?
Trenér naši podporu má. Ale ve sportu rozhodují výsledky a výkonnost týmu. Situaci průběžně vyhodnocujeme a budeme dělat taková rozhodnutí, která jsou v zájmu klubu.
Zmiňoval jste příležitosti pro hráče z akademie. Je to prioritou?
Jejich zapojování do A týmu vnímáme jako dlouhodobý proces. Naším cílem je vytvářet prostředí, ve kterém se talenti mohou přirozeně rozvíjet. Aby byli připraveni ve správný moment udělat krok do prvního týmu. Realizační tým pak zhodnotí, kdy taková chvíle nastane. Dostanou šanci naplnit své ambice a sny. Provázanost áčka s akademií je teď díky příchodu nové majitelky nejlepší za posledních pět let. První tým vidí členové akademie na Složišti často, jsou to jejich idoly.
Dynamo je ve druhé lize po podzimu desáté. Jaké jsou ambice pro jaro?
Chceme hlavně stabilizovat výkony týmu a mít konzistentní výsledky. Abychom byli konkurenceschopní a pohybovali se v horní části tabulky.
Stihl jste už poznat, jaké má Dynamo aktuálně vztahy s městem a krajem?
Vztahy s městem a krajem jsou dobré. Budeme se je snažit dál rozvíjet a posílit. Jihočeský region potřebuje silné Dynamo.
Jak by měl být klub vnímaný v dalších letech?
Chceme vybudovat moderní a stabilní prvoligový klub, který bude dávat prostor mladým hráčům, ale zároveň bude klást důraz na výkonnost a výsledky. Hodláme spojit dlouhodobý rozvoj s konkurenceschopností tak, aby Dynamo bylo respektovaným soupeřem i silnou organizací. Až se dostaneme zpátky do první ligy, tak nechceme zůstávat někde dole. Naopak chceme být silní a dobře propagovat jihočeský region.

What exactly does your position involve?
My role at the club is focused on supporting its overall operation and further development. I am involved in implementing the club’s strategy, strengthening the internal organization and connecting individual departments so that the club moves forward in a unified way. The goal is to ensure a clear direction and to create conditions for long-term stability and growth. We know where we want to take the club, and we adapt our day-to-day decisions accordingly.
So what is that direction? Could you outline the strategy?
Following the arrival of the new owner, players from the club academy such as Colin Andrew, David Krch and Jan Brabec were given opportunities, which clearly shows one of the directions the club wants to take. In January, Jáchym Štindl and Lukáš Rajtmajer signed their first professional contracts, something that had not been common over the past five years. It is evident that the club is placing its trust in young players, and this trend will continue.
That is one direction. What about the others?
A key priority is to further strengthen the academy. At the same time, we want to stabilize the club and build solid foundations for its development. Our ambition is to be as well prepared as possible and, from the summer onwards, fully commit to the fight for promotion to the top division.
Isn’t that an overly ambitious plan?
We are working to strengthen all sectors of the club. We have time until the summer to prepare everything properly so that we can compete for promotion.
Will Dynamo continue to bring in foreign players?
We want players whose quality truly earns them the Dynamo shirt, especially young ones. We will not distinguish between Czech and foreign players.
You have been at the club for around three weeks. What were the beginnings like?
Very intense and work-focused. Although I have been part of the football environment for a long time, this role is new to me. It represents both challenges and valuable experience. From the very beginning, it has been clear that only systematic work, commitment and a responsible approach can deliver results that help the club continue to develop.
How far do your decision-making powers extend?
Responsibilities within the club are set up to ensure clear and effective management. In my role, I take part in key decisions and bear responsibility for them. What matters most is our shared interest in ensuring that every decision supports stability, growth and the long-term strength of the club.
How often do you communicate with the club owner, Nneka Ede, and about what?
We communicate regularly about the club’s strategic direction, further development and the strengthening of its internal structure. We discuss goals and the steps needed to achieve long-term stability and competitiveness. What is important is that we share the same vision of where the club should be heading.
Can you outline what the club’s future financing will look like?
Economic stability is one of the fundamental pillars of the club’s operation. The aim is to establish a healthy and sustainable model based on multiple sources of income and responsible management. Only a financially stable club can grow in the long term and fulfill its sporting ambitions.
If you plan to fight for promotion next season, will the budget increase?
This will be discussed with the club’s management. The budget needs to be balanced in line with our objectives.
How do you see the club’s external communication evolving in the future?
We want communication to be open, professional and trustworthy. Our goal is to provide fans and the media with timely and relevant information, while also strengthening the relationship between the club and its supporters.
Several players left the squad during the winter period. Will there be further changes?
The transfer window is open and we are working with the squad. If an opportunity arises to sign a quality player, we will not shy away from it. This is primarily handled by the sporting department. There may be arrivals and departures, always with regard to the needs of the team and the club’s long-term interests. I will not comment on specific names until any changes are finalized.
At the end of November, Chukwudi Igbokwe, Jude Sunday and Simon Omon had to leave the country. Will they return?
They have residence permits in another EU country. Once the 90-day period expires, they will be able to return and continue at the club. They should be back at the start of the spring part of the season.
Head coach Pedro Resende is under contract only until the end of the season. Do you plan to continue with him?
The coach has our support. However, in sport, results and team performance are decisive. We continuously evaluate the situation and will make decisions that are in the best interest of the club.
You mentioned opportunities for academy players. Is that a priority?
Their integration into the first team is a long-term process. Our goal is to create an environment in which talented players can develop naturally and be ready to take the step into the first team at the right moment. The coaching staff will then assess when that moment has come. They will be given the chance to fulfill their ambitions and dreams. Thanks to the arrival of the new owner, the connection between the first team and the academy is now the strongest it has been in the past five years. Academy players see the first team regularly at Složiště – they are their role models.
Dynamo is tenth in the second division after the autumn part of the season. What are the ambitions for the spring?
Our main aim is to stabilize the team’s performances and achieve consistent results, so that we are competitive and can move into the upper part of the table.
Have you already had a chance to assess Dynamo’s current relationship with the city and the region?
Relations with the city and the region are good. We will strive to further develop and strengthen them. The South Bohemian region needs a strong Dynamo.
How should the club be perceived in the coming years?
We want to build a modern and stable top-division club that gives opportunities to young players while also emphasizing performance and results. Our intention is to combine long-term development with competitiveness, so that Dynamo becomes a respected opponent and a strong organization. When we return to the first division, we do not want to be fighting at the bottom. On the contrary, we want to be strong and to represent the South Bohemian region with pride.
